Waynetown, Ind. - Bluford (Blue) Denham, 52, of Crawfordsville Route 2, died Monday (May 4, 1970) at Orlando, Fla., where he had resided the past winter. Death reportedly was due to a stroke. A native of Sumerset, Ky., he was born May 4, 1918, the son of Clarence and Liddy dick Denham. He was married Dec 13, 1939, to Chloeteel Davis, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Michael of Crawfordsville and Frank of Orlando; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Crawford of Orlando and Mrs. Linda Davis of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Orville and Marvin Denham, both of Alamo, Ind., and Robert Denham of Crawfordsville Route 3; three sisters, Mrs. Iva Moore, Mrs. Sadie Price and Mrs. Dora Reedy, all of Orlando; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter. Mr. Denham worked as an operator of heavy equipment in the construction field both in Indiana and Florida. He attended schools at Wingate and New Richmond, Ind., and was a member of the Moose Lodge of Crawfordsville and the Methodist Church at Thorntown, Ind. The body will be returned to the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Morris Finch will officiate, with burial in Alamo Cemetery.
