Waynetown, Ind. (CNS) - Arvil N. Denham, 62, of the Alamo community on Crawfordsville Route 3, died at 4 a.m. today (Sept 7, 1976) at his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Denham had resided in Alamo for the past 30 years and was a bus driver for the South Montgomery School Systerm. Born Nov 7, 1913, in Somerset, Ky., he was the son of Clarence C. and Liddy M. Dick Denham. He was married Dec 27, 1948, in Crawfordsville to Betty Newlin who survives. Mr. Denham was a member of the Thornton-Wesley Unoted Methodist church, Alamo Masonic Lodge 144, Indiana-Illinois Fox Hunters Association and served as president of the Northern Indiana Fox Hunters Association. Other survivors include three sons, Arvil Jr. of Greenwood, Wayne of Yountsville Route 3 and Allen at home; a daughter Mrs. Clyde (Donna) Jones of Waveland'; two brothers, Marvin of Alamo and Bob of Crawfordsville Route 3; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Moore of Waynetown and Mrs. Dora Reedy of Kissimmee, Fla., five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. Morris Finch will officiate. Burial will be in Alamo Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Alamo Masonic Lodge.
