NEWTOWN, Ind. — Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Heights Christian Church in Crawfordsville for Mrs. Wreatha DeMumbrum, 55, who died Wednesday night, Jan. 5, 1972 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette after a short illness. The Rev. Lucian Robinson officiated with burial in Old Baptist Cemetery in Newtown. Arrangements were handled by McGaughey Funeral Home in Russellville. She was a resident of Lafayette for about two years. She worked for the Ross Gear Co. in Lafayette. Born Sept. 11, 1916, she was a daughter of Franklin and Maude Rennick Vaughn. She was married to Garnet DeMumbrum who preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Garnet of Crawfordsville and Jack of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Miss Sharon DeMumbrum of Lincoln, Ill., and Mrs. Nancy Knowling of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Norris Vaughn and Ralph Vaughn both of Lafayette, and Paul Vaughn in Kentucky; and eight grandchildren.--waw
