SAMUEL BENNETT DEMORET

Samuel DEMORET, one of the pioneer citizens of Montgomery County died at his home six miles south of the city on Monday afternoon. The deceased was born in Butler County, Ohio, and came to this county in 1844, where he has since resided. The funeral occurred at New Market on Tuesday, services being conducted by Rev. Snyder. Interment at Presbyterian cemetery south of the city.

Another veteran citizen is numbered with the heroic dead in the demise of Samuel DEMORET at the resident of his son Milton Demoret at New Market Monday afternoon at the ripe age of 89. He came to this county from Butler Co Ohio in 1844 and was an exemplary man being a member of the United Brethren Church. Funeral services occurred Tuesday afternoon.
