Demoret - Rebecca Balser - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Died – on the 5th inst, at the residence of her husband in this county, Mrs. Rebecca Demoret, consort of Samuel B. Demoret aged 66 years 1 month 26 days.  The deceased was born in Hamilton Co Ohio from whence she removed with her husband to this county in the year 7845 (sic – 1845). She was for 30 years a faithful and consistent member of the church of the United Brethren and in all the walks of life exemplified her Christian faith by good workers. She was a kind wife, a good mother and neighbor, like the good Samaritan who poured oil and wine into the wounds of his suffering brother man. She died in the full belief of a blessed immortality and expressed a perfect willingness to go to that spiritual land where troubles cease and the weary are at rest. – kbz
