MARY SURFACE DEMORET

Mrs. Mary Demoret, 47, Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, died at 12:50 a.m. Monday in Culver Hospital after a lengthy illness. She had been hospitalized two days. She attended New Market schools and was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church. Born Dec. 23, 1923, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of Clyde and Verna Buck Surface. She was married Oct. 13, 1945, to Norman Demoret. They were married in Montgomery County. Survivors include her husband, her mother, two sons, Steven of Rt. 2 and Richard at home; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gloria Demoret; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Collins of Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, a brother and a nephew. Funeral services will be con- ducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Powers' Funeral Home here. Rev. John Servies will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday. -- typed by Chris M
