FOREST DEMORET

Forest C. Demoret, 70, retired farmer of the Parkersburt community died at 10:40 Saturday in Culver Hospital. A son of Samuel M. and Nellie Fruits Demoret, he was born in Montgomery County Jan 6, 1894. He was married to Glady L. Douglas Feb 10, 1916. She died in 1954. Mr. Demoret began farming in the Black Creek neighborhood after his marriage. He was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church. He retired from farming in 1960. Surviving are 3 sons, Clarence R, Crawfordsville, sheriff of Montgomery County; Norman L of Rt 4 and Flloyd L. of Rt 3, two daughters, Mrs. Paul Redman of Jamestown and Mrs. Paul Blankenship of St. Cloud, Fl; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Staries of Danville, Ill; Mrs. James Fruits of Rt 7 and Mrs. Faye Houston of Muncie; a brother, Charles of Ladoga and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceding Mr. Demoret in death was a son and brother. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Don Phillips of New Market officiating, assisted by Rev. John Servies. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday. kbz
