Waveland - LeRoy Delp, 90, Rt 1, died at 1:33 p.m. Friday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. Services were at 1 p.m. Monday in Hippensteel Funeral Home at Lafayette with Rev. Earl McCall officiating. Interment in Springvale Cemetery at Lafayette. He was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Dayton United Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge 347. He was an Army veteran of WWI, serving in Southern France and Germany. Mr. Delp was born May 7, 1893, in Laurens, Iowa. His first marriage was to Fern Elvira Britan. She preceded him in death May 2, 1947. In 1949, he was married to Maude Martin, who survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Fern) Pedigo of Dayton; four sons, Donald J. of Lafayette; Robert R. of Indianapolis; Jay E. of Marshall and Ralph L. of Lizton; two stepsons, James and Keith Martin, both of Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Margaret Winecoop of Crawfordsville; 21 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. - kbz
