Huntington Beach, Calif - Word has been received of the death of Francis Daymond Delano, 67, of Huntington Beach, Calif. He died Saturday in his home. He retired from the US Navy in 1964. He was born Dec 17, 1921,at Advance to Ernest and Inez Delano. He married Dorothy Rolanti of Boston, Mass. on May 17, 1950. She survives. Also surviving are 5 sisters, Kathleen Neff of New Ross, Doris McGlothin of Lafayette, Thelma Rice of Linden and Annabelle Roe and Lola "Sissy" Hockersmith both of Crawfordsville and five brothers, Paul of Bodfish, Calif; Albert of New Market, Jesse of New Richmond and a twin brother, John and Loyal "Buzzy" both of Crawfordsville. A brother, Robert, is deceased. Memorial services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday in Westminister Memorial Park at Westminister, California.
