ANNUNCIATA PRICE DEERING

Mrs. Annunciata Deering, a former resident of this city, and a daughter of the late Michael Price, former councilman, died at the home of C.N. Vancleave in Indianapolis, Wednesday, following an illness of several weeks. For the past several years Mrs. Deering has resided in Chicago where she has operated a beauty parlor. She was taken ill while visiting at the Vancleave home, with complications, following a severe attack of rheumatism causing her death. Mrs. Deering was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Price well known resident of this city, both of whom have been dead for a number of years. She was married to Mark Deering of this city who preceeded her in death. She is survived by three children, Mark living in Texas; Gerald at home in Chicago and Mrs. Harold Hoos, also of Chicago. In addition to three children, Mrs. Deering is also survived by one brother and two sisters. The brother is Bernard Price of New Carlyle, Ohio and the sisters are Mrs. Fred Brown of Peoria, Ill; and Miss Margaret Price of Chicago. The body was brought to the city Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock and was taken to the Utterback & Murphy mortuary where it will be kept until the funeral which is to be held at St. Bernard's church here at 9:30 o'clock Friday morning with Rev. Will D. Sullivan in charge. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery here. - typed by kbz
