William Joseph Deere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Deere, died in Culver hospital on Thursday of last week. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Deer and was born near Freedom, Aug 15, 1902. Funeral services were held at Freedom Church on Sunday morning in charge of Rev. HH Elmore. Burial in Freedom Cemetery. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ben Mitchell of Byron and Mrs. Stella Walker of Indianapolis; and by one brother, Cecil who lives in Indianapolis. - kbz
