Irvin C. Deere, 85, former local businessman and brother of Alonzo C. Deere of Crawfordsville died Tuesday in Kerrville, Tex. Mr. Deere owned an automobile agency at Kerrville. He previously had been in the trucking business at Dallas. He moved from Crawfordsville to Dallas in 1926. Mr. Deere was born north of Waveland in June of 1885. In addition to the brother presiding here, Mr. Deere is survived by his widow, Ava and a son and daughter. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Nell Hodgkins and a daughter, Josephine. Graveside services will be conducted at 4:10 p.m. Thursday at Dallas. - kbz
