Lebanon, Indiana Feb 26 - William F. DeBard, a former well known citizen of Lebanon died at his home near Plainfield at 9:15 o'clock Tuesday night.  He had been ill for five months with heart disease which caused his death.  Mr. DeBard moved from this city about five years ago to Indianapolis and last October took up his residence near Plainfield.  He was born in Decatur County May 8, 1837 and was consequently 76 Years 9 Months 16 Days old.  He was married in Tipton County to Sarah Smith who survives together with the following children: Zora at home; Clinton, of this city; Thomas of Michigan; Leona at home; James of this county; Amanda and Ethel at home. He also leaves two sisters, Margaret Beck of Jefferson Township, this county and Louisa Serenge, of Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Central Christian Church of this city.  The body will be brought here Friday, arriving on the 1:22 p.m. car and will be taken direct to the church where the funeral services will be conducted. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery. - kz
