Mrs. Hazel Jarvis Deere, age 82, 210 W. Main Crawfordsville died Tuesday night at Culver Hospital. She had been ill 10 days. She was born Nov 4, 1883 in Waveland, the daughter of Clay and Ella Spencer Jarvis. She married Alonzo C. Deere Dec 22, 1926 in Waveland. Mrs. Deere was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Waveland HS and attended Indiana University. For 55 years, she taught Sunday School at the Waveland Presbyterian Church. She moved to Crawfordsville in 1961. Survivors include the husband; two sisters, Mrs. George Fullenwider of McMinville, Ore and Mrs. Winford Sharp of Salem, Ore a granddaughter, Mrs. Stanley Bales of Ft. Wayne a great granddaughter, Kirby. She was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Jarvis Deere. Funeral services were held ____ (sorry rest gone) - kbz
