Sarah M. Deer, widow of the late Thomas Deer, died at the home of her brother, William Goben in Crawfordville, Tues. evening. She has been a sufferer with internal cancer for a long time. Funeral services were held at the Primitive Baptist Church in Crawfordsville yesterday. - typed by kbz
Note: Sarah was born 3 April 1847 and died of breast cancer 23 November 1920. She was the daughter of Jesse J. Goben and Arminta Plunkett. She had 9 brothers and sisters but do not believe children of her own (someone let me know if I'm incorrect). Her first husband was James Warnock and she is buried with him at Oak Hill Grant Avenue).
