Henry W. Dean, 83, last of a family of twelve children, died Wednesday morning at his home near Crawfordsville. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Chastain funeral home. Burial was at Roachdale cemetery. Born east of here September 3, 1854, the son of John W. and Harriet Current Dean. He lived at North Salem and Thorntown and was actively engaged in farming-- thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated ! -.
