Dazey - Henry - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Waynetown May 25 - Henry Dazey, 67, died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville at 4:10 a.m. today following a major operation Tuesday. He was the husband of Mrs. Louella (Watts) Dzey who died last Thursday. Born in the Center neighborhood north of New Richmond he was married in 1891. He spent all his life in Montgomery and Parke County. He was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving are the following 16 children: Mrs. Asa Humphreys, Mrs. Lloyd Stephens and John Dazey, Yountsville; Mrs. Doris Kelly, Thomas Dazey and Leland Dazey,  Crawfordsville; Mrs. Robert Fulwider, Mrs. Marion Smith and Donald Dazey, Wingate; Mrs. Vern Staggs, Marshall; Mrs. Kenneth Seybold, New Market; Mrs. Geneva Swugart, Salem, Ore; Mrs. Jud Evans, Satsop Wash; Mrs. Helen Brady, Pittsburg, Kan; Fred Dazey, Liberal, Mo and Harold Dazey, CHicago; three brothers: Barnum, Waynetown; Charles Wingate; and CLifford, Crawfordsville and a sister, Mrs. Robert Bunnell, Waynetown. Funeral services for Mrs. Dazey were to be held today but were posponed until Monday at 2 p.m. when a double funeral services for both Mr. and Mrs. Dazey will be held from the Center Church, Rev. AC Duncan officiating; burial in Oakland Cemetery the Grenard Funeral in charge. - kbz
