Dazey - Clifford (Biff)

Clifford (Biff) Dazey, 83, 1924 Delaware St., died Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. in Culver Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years. He was born Feb. 3, 1877, west of New Richmond, the son of Charles A. and Amanda Swank Dazey. He married Etta L. Godbey on May 23, 1918. Mr. Dazey was a member of the Center Christian Church and the Wingate Masonic Lodge. He was a farmer and stock buyer in the county for the greater part of his life, and had lived in Crawfordsville for the past 18 years. Survivors are his wife; a stepson, Clarence McDaniel of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Charles Dazey of Wingate and Barnum Dazey of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call after noon Friday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Services will be at the funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. – jlr
