Mrs. Tom Davis dies in her sleep - on Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Sowers, where she had made her home since last December in Rockville. She was found dead in her bed. Funeral arrangements have not been made at this time. Sept 23 Lucinda Davis, 70, died Thursday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude Sowers in Rockville, where she had made her home since last December, was found dead in her bed. Surviving are one son, Cecil of Waveland; a daughter, Mrs. Claude Sowers in Rockville, a daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Byron Allen of Kingman; two brothers, Henry MYERS of Newport and William Myers of Guion. There are 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, who died a year ago and one son and daughter. The funeral was conducted on Saturday afternoon at the Branon Funeral Home, Rockville with Rev. G. DeNeal officiating and burial in Union Cemetery south of Rockville.- transcribed by karen bazzani zach
