Waynetown, Nov 9 - Mrs. Ida E. Davis, 78, life long resident of Waynetown, died at 3:18 Monday afternoon at her home here following a six weeks period of illness. She had been ill for the past year, after suffering a stroke last fall. Mrs. Davis was born April 10, 1864 in Tippecanoe County. She was the daughter of James and Mahala Biddle Westfall. On July 12, 1883, she married Isaac Davis who died Nov 5, 1941. They had been married 58 years. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Connor, of Waynetown; Mrs. Julia Wilson of Crawfordsville; three sons, Walter and Manning of Waynetown and Lawrence, now serving in the US Army in Missouri. Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one step grand child, one uncle, one aunt and one sister, Mrs. Martha Westfall with whom she lived also survive. Funeral services will be held in the Waynetown Baptist Church, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. Gary Arbritten will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. - typed by kbz
