Mrs. Elizabeth Davis, wife of Isaac Davis, died at her home on North Grant Avenue Monday. Mrs. Davis was taken sick the fore part of last week and has been suffering from diseases of the heart and stomach. She was the daughter of Robert W. and Julia McMakin and was born in Ripley Township on the old McMakin homestead in 1837. - kbz

Mrs. Isaac Davis died at her reidence on North Grant Avenue Monday after a brief illness. She was 68 years of age.
The funeral of Mrs. Isaac Davis occurred Wednesday from the reidence on Grant Avenue and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. The services wer ein charge of Dr. CH Wilson, pastor of Center Church. - kbz
