Mary L. Davies, 94 of West Lafayette, a lkong-time resident of Brookston, died on Monday in her home at Westminster Village. She was born in Michigantown to the late Wilbur and Lola Wyant Lough. She graduated from Waynetown HS in 1933.
Her first marriage was to Paul Clements on March 8, 1943. He preceded her March 15, 1958. She then married Clarence E. Davies on Jan 6, 1964 in Waynetown. He preceded her in death Sept 26, 1999.
She worked as a bookkeer at Woolworth's in Crawfordsvile for many years, was a homemaker and helped on the famiy farm. She was a member of the Federated Church of Brookston, Brookston Home Economics Club. Brookston Order of Eastern Star and Cardarama.
Surviving are three daughters, Rosemary (Steve) Doan of Roswell, Ga; Janice Patterson of Fishers and Jill Goss of Kansas City Mo; a son, Doug (Sandy ) Davies of Brookston and a sister, Mamie (Forrest Lyn) Richardson of Crawfordsville ..
