Clarence J. Dark died at his home, Veedersburg RR 2 March 25, 1948 due to a heart ailment. He was born May 19, 1884 in Parke County, son of Joseph Dark and Emily Stull Dark. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Payton Dark, six children: Veda, Mary Lea and Lela at home; Helen Weisheit Bloomingdale; Ruth Higgins Crawfordsville; Marvin, Veedersburg. He is also survived by two brothers, Thomas and William of Kingman; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.. Saturday afternoon at the Kingman United Brethern Church with the Rev. Leslie Smith officiating. Burial in Harveysburg Cemetery. Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. - kbz
