William J. DANIEL, a former resident of Waveland where he ran the "brick" blacksmith shop for a time, died unexpectedly at his home in Muncie on Monday morning last soon after arising (sic). He was born in NY state in 1872. When he was a child the family removed to Danville, Ill where the father ran a blacksmith shop. On his death William took charge of the business. He came to Waveland in 1904. In 1911 he moved to Muncie where he operated a shop for several years until he got into politics and held several appointive offices. He was assistant street commissioner at the time of his death.
