Alice W. Damewood, 84, died Sunday morning in the Ben Hur Nursing Home. She was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church. Born Oct. 29, 1890, in Elizabethtown, Ky., she was a daughter of Mark and Ada Richardson Decker. She first married Raymond Boze in 1908. He died in 1950. She married Homer Damewood in 1963. He died in 1970. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Lynch of Linden; two brothers, Owen and Hardin Decker, both of Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Roy Toman of Lafayette; a granddaughter, Mrs. Maxine Gowan of Crawfordsville; two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Dooley officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.--waw
