Dain - Marion

Marion Dain died at his home in Kirkpatrick on Tuesday. He was among the first to enlist in Co G 11th Ind Vol Inf in the Spring of 1861 and was discharged some time before the regiment was mustered out for disability, his friends having to go after him to get him home. He never fully recovered and continued to linger and suffer all these years and dying of that dread army disease chronic diarrhea. He leaves a family and large circle of friends to mourn.
