Funeral services for Abram W. DAZEY were conducted from the Center Christian Church Thursday, with Rev. Homer Hunsinger of Wingate in charge. Mrs. Blanche Menaugh and Mrs. Bertha Thompson accompanied by Mrs. Gould Kennedy, sang "Shall We Gather at the River?", When the Roll is called up Yonder and "Rock of ages." Pallbearers were Willard Watts; Carl Watts; Foster Watts; Paul Fulwider; Robert Filwider and Gould Kennedy. Flowers were carried by Mr. and Mrs. Hall Hopper; Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Irvin; Mr. and Mrs. John Irvin; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dazey; Betty Irvin and Sally Irvin, grandchildren and Ruth Ann Irvin, a great granddaughter of Mr. Dazey. Burial was made in Oakland Cemetery Mr. Dazey died Tuesday June 10 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Don Irvin, following an illness of 9 months.
