Bert L. Cunningham, 80, retired doctor residing in Chico, Calif died Wednesday night from a stroke. He was a patient in Glen Eden Nursing Home in Paradise, Calif Cunningham was born in Crawfordsville Feb 11, 1882, and resided here a number of year. A chiropodist, he moved to cleveland, Ohio where he had his office for a number of years. He left Cleveland to set up practice in San Francisco. Cunningham retired from practice in San Francisco and went to live with his son in Chico. Cunningham was preceded in death by his wife Musa and a son, Paul who died in infancy. survivors include the son, Carl C. Cunningham of Chico a daughter, Mrs. Hal Wilson of Carmel, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Howard N. Steel of Canton, Ohio and Mrs. Leo Douglas of Crawfordsville; and two grandchildren. Funeral rites and burial will be conducted at San Mateo, Calif.
