Waynetown -- Mrs. Lillie Crowder, 93, who had lived here since 1946, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Crowder, who moved here from Yountsville, was a member of Yountsville Community church and the Laides Aid of that church. She was also a member of the former Flower Lovers Club in Waynetown. She was born on Sept 25, 1880 in Jackson Twp of Fountain County, the last of 8 children born to James C. and Caroline Grimes Keeling. She attended schools in rural Fountain and later married Wiley C. Crowder on March 9, 1910 in the Lutheran Parsonage at Wallace. Surviving are two sons, Gordon of Rt. 4, Crawfordsville and Paul of West Covina, Calif; two daughters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Groves of Rt. 5, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Lawrence (Kathryn) Kelsey of Rt. 6, Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren and 21 greats. She was preceded in death by a grandson, two great granddaughters, three brothers and four sisters. Services will be held at 2 pm.. Thursday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here with the Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
