Frank Crisp, age 65, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, April 15, at his home at Perrysville. He had been ill three days. Mr. Crisp was born June 6, 1896 at Waveland, the son of William and Dora Keller Crisp. He married Vera Smith on Dec. 20, 1916. She survives. Mr. Crisp was an auto mechanic most of his life and recently a carpenter. He attended Hazelbrush School in Highland Township. Mr. Crisp lived in Cayuga and Perrysville most of his life. He moved to Perrysville in 1936 and resided there ever since. Mr. Crisp was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. Surviving besides the wife are a son, L. D. Crisp; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Belle Wooster of Perrysville, Mrs. Lena Mae Orr and Mrs. Betty Lyons, both of Danville; a brother, Jesse Crisp of Danville Rt. 5; three sisters, Mrs. Lula Wade of Danville, Mrs. Ida Hurley of Perrysville, and Mrs. Virgie Holycross of Covington and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the Perrysville Methodist Church. The Rev. Earl Owen officiated. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery with the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home of Covington in charge. Pallbearers were: Earl Cox, Clarence Sprouls, Robert Gibson, Mont Coleman, Roy Smith and Oscar Richardson.
