Death claimed last Monday another of our older friends in the person of Mrs. Lydia M. Crawford, widow of Henry Crawford, senior, at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Crawford's maiden name was Lydia M. Marshal, daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Marshall, of Dunbarton, New Hampshire. She was married to the late Henry Crawford, who died in 1872 in the year 1841, by whom she bore two children, Clara R. and Charles M. Crawford. Mrs. Crawford was a sister to the late Rev. Charles Marshall of Indianapolis, Mrs. Prof. Caleb Mills and Miss Harriet Marshall who resides in this city. - transcribed by kbz
