Crane - Isaiah

Waynetown Oct 18 - Isaiah Crane passed awway Monday evening at 6:30 o'clolck at the home of Ora Murphy two and one-half miles northwest of Waynetown after a short illness. Mr. Crane had been working in the field and had just finished his supper when he was stricken with paralysis. He was born January 17, 1849 and was the son of Zefinah and Sarah Busenbark Crane. On June 9, 1875 he was married to Miss Anna Walker who preceded him in death in November 1918. He was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. Most of his life has been spent in Montgomery and Fountain Counties. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Emma Holmer, Hillsboro, Mrs. Razzie Pearson, Wingate; three sons, CG Crane near Crawfordsville; Otis of Attica and John of Oklahoma; two brothers, Henry of Linden and Squire of Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Lem Busenbark of Crawfordsville 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 10 o'clock at the Methodist Church with interment in Waynetown Cemetery. Rev. Morris of Newtown will have charge of the services. - kbz
