Ladoga; Aug 17. - The funeral of Lemuel Crosby was held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Ladoga Presbyterian church with the Rev. Virgil Ragan of Indianapolis officiating. Eugene Hutchins of Roachdale played two organ solos, "Perfect Day" and "The Eastern Gate."
Flowers bearers were Mrs. Claude Crosby, Mrs. Emery Hill, Mrs. Darrel Sanders, Mrs. Ray Crosby, Mrs. Ralph Crosby, Mrs. Robert Crosby, Mrs. Byron Crosby, Mrs. Harry Rice, Mrs. Ethel McGaughey, Mrs. Blanche Hostetter, Mrs. Coral Scribner, Mrs. Ida Grantham, Mrs. Hallie Sidener, Mrs. Stella Harshbarger, Mrs. Gertrude Carman, Mrs. Cressie Sperry, Mrs. Ira Foster and Mrs. Ruth Downing.
Pall bearers were Claude Crosby, Emery Hill, Darrel Sanders, Ray Crosby, Ralph Crosby, Robert Crosby and Byron Crosby.
Those from a distance attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs Joe McCray of Noblesville, Mr. and Mrs. Ott Thomas of Morton, J. E. McCray of Vincennes, Mrs. Hallie Thomas of Greencastle, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Van Meter and son and Mrs. Winnie Williams of Lafayette, Mr. and Mrs. George DeHaven, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Carman and daughter Virginia of Indianapolis, Mrs Lizzie Hill and son Emery and family of Lizton, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Simmons of Dayton, Ohio.
Burial was made at Roachdale.
