George Lee CRIST, 65, 3224 N. Illinois Street, a former state diary inspector died at his home, Oct 31, 1941 of a heart attack. Born near New Market, the son of Rollo and Mary J. Crist he spent his boyhood day sin New Market and lived a number of years in Waveland, he came to Indianapolis 19 years ago. He was a dairy inspector 4 years, retiring because of ill health in Jan 1938. He was a member of Waveland Lodge No. 300 F & AM and the Broadway Methodist Church. T he services were held at the home, Monday morning at 10:30 in charge of Rev. EA Clegg. The pallbearers were nephews and cousins, Elbert Hale; Gordon Hale; Crist Hale; Allen Edawrds; Walter Davis and Alva Davis. Burial in Maple Ridge cem. with services at the grave by Waveland Lodge No. 300 F&AM. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Pauline D (nee Wolfe) Crist; a daughter, Miss Mary J. Crist both of Indianapolis and a sister, Mrs. Harry Packer of Richmond, Indiana. -- typed by kbz
