Mrs. Cox taught for many years at Darlington school. She was a member of Darlington United Methodist Church, Circle 1 and Montgomery County Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are a son, George Cox (wife: Karon) of Darlington; and four daughters, Kay Norton (husband: Glen) of Colfax; Sherry Winger (husband: Ralph) of Linden, Janni Hall of Cicero and Mary Harrison (husband: Steve) of Woodlands, Texas.
Darlington - Lucille Cox, 93, of Darlington, died at 1:40 p.m. Friday Nov 25, 20t. Clare Medical Center in Crawfordsville. Born Jan 9, 1912, near Darlington in Montgomery County, she graduated from Darlington HS in 1929 and teacher's college. She married Keith M. Cox on Dec 31, 1936 in Darlington, and he died Sept 23, 1975.
