Mrs. Louise Cowan, a former Crawfordsville resident, died Monday evening at a hospital in Dallas, Tex. She and her late husband, Andrew M. Cowan, lived south of Crawfordsville on the Ladoga Road for several years before moving to Dallas. She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn SoRella of Dallas; two sons, Andrew Jr. of Maryland and John of Charleston, W. Va.; a brother-in-law, Hubert Cowan of Rt. 6, Crawfordsville; two nephews, Byron and Marion Cowan of the Crawfordsville area, and two nieces, Rebecca Harris of Lawrence and Margaret Booher of near New Market. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at LaMar Smith Funeral Home in Dallas. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery at Washington, D.C., Saturday.
