Mrs. Doris Michele COVAULT of Darlington died Saturday morning May 29, 1965 at Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis where she had been a patient for 12 hours. She was 38. She was born Aug 21, 1926 at Waveland and was married Aug 5, 1941 at Rockville to Stanley D. Covault. Her father, Samuel Yaryan and her mother, Dora are deceased. She was working for the B&R Furniture Store at Darlington until she became ill. She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star, Darlington Chapters. She held the office of Adah in the organization. The Covaults began housekeeping at Stone Bluff and had lived near Covington, near Byron in Parke County and at Shannondale. Survivors include the husband, daughters Mrs. Larry Stockton; Patricia Irene Covault; a son, Floyd Steven Covault; 3 brothers, Max, Carhels and Lee Yaryan; 8 sisters, Edna Yaryan; Mrs. Paul Poole; Mrs. Dale Springer; Mrs. Albert Push; Mrs. Carl MacAfee; Mrs. Tommy Rubintino; Mrs. Paul Terry and Mrs. Powers Commers. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bright Funeral Home, Darlington., Rev. Donald Huber of Lebanon officiated. Burial in Osborne Prairie Cemetery, Veedersburg. - kbz

Darlington - Funeral services for Mrs. Doris M. Covault, wife of Stanley D. Covault, were held here Tuesday at the Bright Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Huber of Lebanon and Rev. Leonard Siff, pastor of the Darlington Congregational Christian Church, were the officiating ministers. Mrs. Richard Lowe sang "How Great Thou Art," with organ accompaniment by Curtis E. Bright. Pallbearers, who also assisted with the floral tributes, were Lewis Brock of Veedersburg, Freeman Woodrow and John Covault of Covington, Charles Woodard and Ernest Hedges of Lebanon and Buster C. Rogers of Crawfordsville. Interment was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff. Mrs. Covault died Saturday in Robert Long Hospital at Indianapolis. - kbz

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bright Funeral Home in Darlington. Rev. Donald Huber of Lebanon will officiate. Burial will be in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery near Veedersburg.
