Madison - William T. Cosby, 86, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired psychiatric attendant for Madison State Hospital, an Army veteran of World War II, a former president of American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 62, a former master of Masonic Lodge 30 and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1969, American Legion Post 9 and Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Survivors: a daughter, Patricia Cosby-Wilkens; a son, Michael C. Cosby; sisters Jeanette Peffley and Geneva Humes; brothers Walter and Robert Cosby; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter. Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday, his church. Burial: Springdale Cemetery. Visitation: Lytle-Gans-Andrew, 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church, after noon Wednesday. Memorial gifts: his church.
