Ladoga - Lando H. Cosby, 78, who resided on Rt. 1, Ladoga, near Parkersburg, died suddenly in his home Wednesday evening. He was born Sept 29, 1891, in Montgomery County to Oliver and Anna Martz Cosby. On Oct 22, 1913, he married Effie May Friend in Crawfordsville. she preceded him in death. Mr. Cosby was a member of Browns Valley Christian Church. He was a farmer in Montgomery County all his life. Surviving are four sons, Kenneth and Leonard of Waveland, Lyle of New Market and Lando, Jr. of Marshall; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Crosby of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conduccted at 2 p.m. Saturday by Rev. Grover D'Neal in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm Friday. - kbz
