William Corns, one of the pioneers of Sugar Creek, died at his home there April 9th, aged about 88 years. He was known and respected for his sterling qualities as a quiet, unassuming, inoffensive citizen. He was one of God's noblemen, an honest man. - kbz

Uncle William Corns died Tuesday morning from the results of the grip. He was one of the first settlers in this vicinity having entered the lands upon which he died. He was over 87 years of age. -s
