Mellott, April 4- Mrs. Cynthia Ann Cooper died at her home one mile south of here about 1:15 o'clock Wednesday morning after having been unconscious for nearly a week. She had been in poor health for some time.
Mrs. Cooper was the wife of the late Cary Cooper, Civil War veteran who died last week. Mrs. Cooper was born near Hillsboro on November 10, 1846, the daughter of Charles and Sue Ann Daily. On Jan 27, 1868 she was married to Cary Cooper. She spent her entire life in Fountain County and lived for 37 years in the home in which she died. The deceased is survived by three sons, Charles and James of Mellott and Frank of Greencastle; three daughters, Mrs. Effie McAlister and Mrs. Effie Reichard of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Ota McCaw of Mellott; one sister, Mrs. Elvina Butts of Hillsboro and one brother, Hiram Daily of Sterling.
The funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the North Christian Church at Mellott with the Rev. JD Fry in charge. Burial will be made at the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown - kbz
