Waynetown June 18 - James T. Cooper, 73 died at his home in Waynetown at 5 o'clock Monday morning, a victim of heart trouble.  He had been seriously ill for the past four days and had been in poor health for the past 4 years.  He was born March 23, 1868 near Mayuville, Ky the son of Mr. and Mrs. Newton Cooper and on Feb 20, 1895 was married to Jennie Taylor.  31 years ago they left Maysville and moved to Hillsboro.  They moved to Waynetown 29 years ago and Mr. Cooper managed a grocery store here until his retirement from business one year ago.  Ill health forced his retirement. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge of Waynetown. Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, son Carl of Waynetown and one brother, RL Cooper of San Francisco. A family service will be held at the home at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning after which the body will be removed to the Methodist Church to lie in state until 10 o'clock when services will be conducted by Rev. Guy Tremaine. Burial will be made in the Masonic cemetery. Friends may call at the late home at any hour. = kbz
