Jamestown -- uneral services were held for William S. Courtney in the Christian church Saturday afternoon with Rev. Enos Dowling officiating. He was assited by Rev. Wilbur sharp of Lebanon formerly minister of the Old Union Church. Musical selections were played on the piano. SHort services were held at Old Union Church following the services at Jamestown. Mrs. Estel Troth played appropriate piano music. Burial was in Old Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bert Sparks, MB Hollingsworth, Warder Huckstep, Noble Canada, Arch Miller and Glen Waters. Many lovely flora offerings were carried by members of Mr. Courtney's Sunday School class and a few friends and included Matt Summers, Frank Runion, William Smith, Charles Frame, Ivan Canada, Ben Neff, Logan Ferguson, Walter Booker, Cecil Steele, Dan Hatcher, Kenneth Whiles, Herschel Page, Eddie Bamish, Burie Sperry, Irl Neel and Ed Cox.
