Conklin - James H

James H. Conklin of Waveland, age 77, died June 3 in Florida. He was born at Bucyrus, Ohio, December 24, 1904, the son of Lee and Edna Hill Conklin. April 7, 1928, he was married to Marie B. Snyder, who survives. He was superintendent of Shades State Park at the time he retired.
Also surviving are a daughter, Carmen Merryman of RR 1, Kingman; a son, Edd Snyder of Carmel; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Wednesday afternoon at Waveland Covenant United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Dean officiating. Machledt and Servies Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
