Frankfort, Ind Aug 20 – HC Collins, of this city, a well know architect, was instantly killed and his wife and son, Ray Collins were perhaps fatally injured this evening when an automobile in which they were riding turned turtle on the Jackson highway near Antioch, a small station four miles east of here. Ray Collins was driving the machine which was purchased last week. He had only driven it a few times and it is said was not very proficient. The road where the accident occurred is straight and there are no embankments. It is thought that the car was going too fast and young Collins lost control.  It is reported here tonight that Mrs. Collin’s injuries consist of a broken back, a broken hip and fractured arm.  Ray Collins was badly cut and bruised and he is said to be injured internally.  HC Collins was widely known throughout Clinton County.  He was 55 years old and had been an architect for many years.  Mrs. Collins and her son were taken to their home on Delphi Avenue in this city where they are being attended by three physicians.  Ray  Collins, the son, who was driving the car is well known in this city and at Darlington where he has frequently visited.
