Colby - Ella

Mrs. Ella Colby died at Battle Creek, Mich., July 9, 1896. She was born in Guthrie County in 1876, and was aged 29 years at her death. She united with the Baptist Church here in 1886. She leaves a husband and two dear little girls, and a father, mother, two sisters, three brothers and many friends to mourn her death. The community here has great sympathy for the family. Ella will be missed here as she was loved by all who knew her. Rev. Prather conducted the funeral here Sunday at 11 o’clock at the church, and her remains were laid to rest in the Indian Creek Cemetery. -- thanks so much to s for tying this and so many obits for this site. -s
