Theron H. COFFING, retired farmer of the Veedersburg community died Tuesday about 1 o'clock at his home
after being ill with a heart ailment for about a year. He was b. 4-4-1872 near Veedersburg, s/o Abner and Elizabeth Zeigler Coffing. He was married to Alta Bowling in 1897 and was a member of Osborn Prairie
Church. He is survived by the wife, two daughters Mrs. Mildred Bailey of Danville and M Rs. Ruth Spivey of Kingman; two sons, Clint & Coy, both of Odell; 9 grand ch and 9 greats; four brothers, Clarence Fred and
Ernest, all of Attica and Theodore of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Anna McClure of Veedersburg and Mrs. Sadie Dudley of Greencastle.
Funeral services were held on Thurs aft at t he Osborn Prairie Church with Rev. JC Shrigley officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Panham Funeral Home in charge. --- thanks to Betty D for this -
