Cochran - Nora Davis - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nora Cochran of New Richmond, age 76, died Friday evening, October 30, in Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She was born in Fountain County, January 6, 1905, the daughter of Joseph and Ada Rice Davis. February 16, 1926, she married Oscar Cochran, who died in 1947. Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star at New Richmond, the Pythian Sisters and Rebekah Lodge of Waynetown and was retired from R. R. Donnelley and Sons Company of Crawfordsville.

 Survivors include a son, Herbert Lee of new Richmond; a sister, Mrs. Frances Lorton of Indianapolis; two brothers, Carl Davis of Covington and Joseph Davis of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren. –

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Tom Cash officiating. Burial was in New Richmond Cemetery. – thanks to S
