New Richmond - William Kenneth Cochran, Montgomery County native, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. Cochran, 40, had been a patient for four weeks and ill for the last two years. The deceased was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church. He also was a former employe of R.R. Donnelley & Sons at Crawfordsville. A son of Oscar and Leah Nora Davis Cochran, he was born on Aug. 13, 1927. He was reared in the New Richmond community and graduated from New Richmond High School. Cochran was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his mother of New Richmond; a brother, Herbert Cochran of Crawfordsville; two aunts; four uncles; a niece and a nephew. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, in the Helms Funeral Chapel at Linden with John Foxworthy officiating. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. Friday.

New Richmond - Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for William K. Cochran, 40, of New Richmond, at the Helms Funeral Home in Linden. John Foxworthy of the New Richmond Christian Church officiated. Organist was Mrs. Marge Linville. Pallbearers were Melvin Waye, Malcolm Waye and Bill Snellenbarger, all of New Richmond; Richard Cochran of Darlington, David Cochrane of Crawfordsville and Woodrow Barton of Plainfield. Burial was in New Richmond Cemetery. Mr. Cochran died Wednesday afternoon at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis.
