COCHRAN, Oscar

Oscar Cochran, 50, son-in-law of Mrs. Ada Davis of Hillsboro died at his home in New Richmond Thursday morning after a six months illness.  He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio the son of Henry and Mary Cochran and on Feb 20, 1926 was married to Miss Nora Davis.  He was a painter by trade and a member of the Sugar Grove Methodist Church.  Survivors are the widow, two sons, Kenneth and Lee at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Cochran; a sister Mrs. Sheridan Geiger and a brother Roscoe Cochran all of New Richmond.  Funeral service was held from the family home in New Richmond at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. Earl Moore of Rensselaer in charge and burial in the New Richmond cemetery.  – thanks to Bren M    ~~~transcribed by kbz
